As the Content Director and Brand Manager, working in marketing at Fairwinds, I have led content creation strategy, campaign management, and asset design. I personally design graphical reports, pdf books, and infographics through adobe suite. As well, I have executive produced Fairwind’s company podcast, culture video, and commercials. For example, the They Will know Us campaign includes my own original screenwriting, sound engineering, and voiceover, in addition to inventing the concept as part of Fairwind’s rebranding efforts.
Upon the company being acquired, I envisioned a campaign called They Will Know Us. The campaign plays on the human desire to be known for doing great things, while dealing with the tension that many — like Fairwinds — do great work behind the scenes that may never be publicly known. The first commercial in the series sought to explain Fairwind’s impact on the world through the story of a child whose coding app was malfunctioning. Fairwind’s did the backend work to fix the application and bring joy to the boy’s family.
Ebooks serve as a great way to publicly distribute information that has been researched, written and edited internally. They communicate the bigger picture while zooming in on specifics to improve relationships with current and future clients. With ebooks, we can provide necessary details regarding what’s current and what is industry-standard in this business as well as the tools we use at Fairwinds. The Fairwinds brand is effectively maintained and showcased in these templatized ebooks.
Environmentally Friendly was conceptualized and created to further socialize Fairwinds and the moves we are making in the Kubernetes world. This podcast series involved storyboarding, research, casting, and producing. It features industry leaders as well as Fairwinds’s very own employees, speaking on what’s current in Kubernetes. This means of media makes Fairwinds a standout amongst its competitors.
